Good morning fellas. I've got a pile of new numbers that I need to have converted over to GPS. Several of my friends have pointed me towards the Andren system and wanted to see if anyone here has had any experience with them. If so can you give a general idea on accuracy?

Thanks for any input.

I have used it for a long time now and it is for sure worth the money. Some numbers are real close some you have to look for a bit and a very few I never found. Not necessarily the programs fault, as you know the strong winds in a hurricane can move stuff all over the gulf.
I just bought the software and in the process of converting a bunch of numbers. The best way to improve your accuracy is to have known loran and gps positions taken at the same location by separate receivers. I have not been able to check my conversion yet but I'm hopeful we can find some good stuff
We used Andren software with limited success until we added some good offset numbers. We have over 200 loran/ GPS numbers for Apalachicola/Carrabelle area. Now we find most of what we look for. If you don't have any offset numbers. I would suggest letting someone convert them who has your area dialed in. The software is great and Carl will take your call if you have any problems. Good luck!
