With the beach closures, does anyone know if we are allowed to anchor off the beach or Fort Pickens sound side and stay in the water?

I think the green line around them is the boundary line. That's why the Bait Boat had to set off the beach. He was told to move out of the boundary waters while conducting business.

Looking at the map I would take it as the green line out in the water as a boundary. Who knows. This weekend was to be our first trip this year to surf fish. SUCKS!

The boundries are land no one owns the water. Put an anchor out you are touching property. Get out of boat you are on property. It is a stickey subject. It helps when you take a couple maritime lawyers out on Diving charters.
For you charter captains that have a customer sign a liability release. They are a waste of paper. You are responsible for your Actions.
Like letting a customer ride on the bow and for some reason falls overboard and gets killed. No names, it happened here in the land cut. A few years back.
