Then you have nontinned cable and nontinned copper ends.pb&jellyfish (04/05/2010)Also, National Standard makes customs battery cables. I had mine made there for less than half the price as it would have cost me from West. They also sell electrical wire and heat shrink connectors for pretty cheap.
These will corrode and let the corrosion run back up under the heat shrink. This will then get into the cable itself.
Need the proof? Never use non tinned ends.
