My family will come to our "hide out" in Pensacola for the next two weeks for holiday.

I'm debating as to whether the effect on fishing from the rains of the storm will make it pointless to bring the boat.

What do you think?

Not knowing the size of your boat or skill level but I can't imagine any scenaio where bringing the boat is pointless. Always fun to be had on the water with a boat.

I gather then that there wasn't much rain. My experience in some years past is that the influx of heavy rains provided too much fresh water and the fish moved to distant waters.
