We have gars around this area bigger than that one. I have seen them. They are destroying our fish populations too. I always recommend killing everyone you can.

Man you know that thing stunk. The way a smaller one smells, I dont know how they stayed in the boat with it.

We Bowfish that area regularly and My dad has gotten several around that size. His biggest was 7ft 2 inches. It weighed 115lbs after being out of the water for 10 hours. He’s also got one that was weighed at the check in station during a gator hunt that was over 6ft and 125lbs. Of course they are with a bow and arrow so wouldn’t count as a record even if they were big enough.

We are also starting to see more and more that are tagged. I guess they are doing more research on them these days.
