I started on Tuesday, getting my WA ready for another season.

Got some new connectors on the battery terminals, charged the batteries up good and hot, pulled the drain plugs on the carbs and pumped some gas through them. Sprayed some carb cleaner in them through the drain hole, and repeated the gas flushing.

Checked my Helm Steering reservoir and topped it off. Spun it each way several times to free it all up.:takephoto

Got out there today at lunchtime and cranked it up. I absolutely LOOOOVE the smell of some synthetic 2 stroke exhaust from my Yamaha 200. Its like the smell of Marlboros to a cigarette addict.

After letting it run a few minutes to warm up, and repeating the crank-up a few times, I let it rest for the rest of the day.:reallycrying

Now, it just needs to warm up and let me buff and polish the fiberglass. Gotta install another GPS/Fishfinder I got the other day, and troubleshoot/replace my washdown pump.

Who else is getting ready?????? It made me feel alot better in the wake of hunting season closing, just to get out there and feel like I am making progress towards going fishing when it warms up.......

Ive got a lot of stuff to do to my newly acquired 21 Hydrasports CC... its an oldie but a goodie, mainly I need some electronics! Time to start shopping...

Got a pipe bender from Ted hurst, think I might put me some heady duty aluminum guideons on my 17ftr... Spring is around the corner!! Saw some Red Cardinals today playing in my back yard, and made me think about that

I can't remember... Does your CC have the hydraulic steering or does it have cables? If it is hydraulic, you better check the level of the fluid before you turn the wheel.....

There was not any electronics on that CC was there? No VHF or bottomfinder?

Last week I installed a stereo. Next week, the annual. I fired her up (fired in five turns) two days ago, I love that sound and smell! Her first run this year will be to the beach for mardi gras. Gonna be loaded down with pink snapper (all legal I promise!). :letsdrink
