Fished for a couple hours this afternoon. The bite was slow. I ending up catching one slot and three under slot reds. All were caught on gulp shrimp on the bottom. Here is a pic of one.

It's nice to find some fish but the difficult part was to get them to bite. I was surprised they were hitting gulp in 19' of water and wouldn't touch dead shrimp.

I have the stealth 12.I went with 12 instead of 14 because I wanted a yak I could slide in and out of my truck easily. I've been happy with it. It is very stable and has a lot of storage. The only downfall is it's not a very fast kayak, or maybe I'm just a slow paddler. :usaflag

Nice red. You were probably getting them with reaction strikes rather than eating because they were actually hungry. That's what I love about fishing artificials.
