Got a buddy here from Eufala that wanted to take some flounder home and they obliged us this morning. All caught on live bait in 6-10 feet of water around hard structure. Also caught him about twenty mullet to put on the smoker so he's a happy camper.

Dang, no wonder there's a shortage on the flounder, lol you getting them all.
Certainly a nice mess of them. Wish I could find a some time to get a few myself.

Yes sir. I like a 12-14 inch leader, usually just use mono, flounder are not the brightest star in the sky. 25-30 pound 'cause I fish around some rough stuff and a lot of other fish like reds live in the same neighborhood. Amount of lead depends on current, usually from 1/2 to 1 ounce unless it's ripping. Easy to catch once you find 'em. Plastic tail grub or Gulp works about as good when there's not much current but it's hard to beat live bait. Welcome to the forum.
