Stopped at the third parking lot west of Ft Pickens gate on Fri the 11th. Between 2 -4 pm caught 3 pompano (12") & 1 redfish(27"). Its been a long time since I've done that well. You could definitely notice the red tide, but it was worth it. I wonder if the red tide will affect the flavor?

No, cooking or freezing does not destroy the red tide toxin. Furthermore, the toxin cannot be seen or tasted.
