Yep, it's a CZ75 but it's not just ANY CZ75. This pistol is the most copied/cloned 9mm parabellum design on the planet - a Pre-B. Most all major 9mm semi-autos, e.g., Baretta, Springfield, IMI/Desert Eagle (Baby Eagle), FN, etc., use this original CZ75 design. The main reason it's so copied, other than it being a fine pistol, is that when this 9mm was developed, the gun maker CZ was unable to obtain an international patent due to restrictions placed by the former Soviet Union or USSR (the largest socialist run country to fail - remind AOC and Bernie Sanders). Although the pistol was developed in 1975, hence the name CZ75, it wasn't sold on open European markets until 1985, when it's younger brother, the CZ85, was developed. As you can see, this CZ75 was made in Czechoslavakia, a country that doesn't exist any longer. I have both these CZs in the ORIGINAL packaging. The 75 has about 25 rds pushed through it and the 85 has never been fired. I purchased both at a U.S. Army Rod & Gun Club in Heidelberg, Germany in the late 80s. At the time of purchase, they were not allowed import into the U.S. due to former East Bloc restrictions. Those restrictions were relaxed some years later. It's kinda nice owning a bit of history. NOT for sale...
