Hey everyone!

Just wanted to share I hit Pensacola Beach this morning around 7am. I went to the very last parking lot before Pickens.

Still don’t really know what I am doing but I did catch a blue runner! Saw lots of fish out there and I was the only one out fishing. I am also beginning to read the water and find those cuts! Practice makes perfect right!

cut the gills on that blue runner, stickem in a bucket of water face in and enjoy fried. kinda similar to the bluefish. it smokes really good if you brine it. one of them is a jack, i can't remember.

it was beautiful! I saw a few “rainbow” types that could have been but who knows 🤷

Blue runner if bled and iced down make beautiful sashimi. The smaller ones have softer meat.
