Post the year and model of this Tigercat. Is he the original owner? They changed the design slightly over the 3 years that Grady made them. They didn't sell as well as the monohulls so they discontinued. I think the first one was built around 1997. This is a beautiful well built boat. It is a planing hull and will ride differently from a displacement hull.

A friend of mine bought it and is pretty happy w/it. Motors need a little work but he's satisfied with what he ended up paying for it

That was a great price if the boat and engines are in decent shape. I remember when they were selling them brand new. I would say now days that it would be over 100,000 if they still made them. 150's will power it well. I have 150 mercury's on mine. If he repowers he could go up to 200s but anymore and it will get stern heavy.
