bigone (12/22/2009)2010 right around the corner, like to know everyones new year resolution in regard to fishing/boating, and what they would like to accomplish this year, and maybe we can come back 1 year from now and see how we all did.

1. Have all mechanical systems working at once on my boat.

2. This year, chase that trophy Cobia down.

3. Red snapper 25+lbs.

Although I have done a great deal of offshore fishing, next year's goal will be working on those two fish specifically.

Happy new year!:letsdrink
I think that there are some things that are just too unrealistic. Maybee you should scratch this one for another. I think that this has never been actually been acomplished after the boat goes in the wate for the first time.

Moving to the Pensacola area from south Texaswill pose a new style of fishing for me but I think that I am up to the challenge.

A few goals for me would be

A 25+lb black drum

A 50" red (been trying for two years now)

A smoker king (caught many schoolies)

A keeper cobia (caught many just shy of legal in the bay)
