where can get the program to install on my laptop to run all the checks and test? along with the wiring harness to plug in to the computer??

If you have about $1600, I can get the cdi made program for you. Sierra is coming out with a scan tool like the DDT terminal. It is very nice and expensive too.

I just dont want to be 20 miles out and need to reset or pin point the problem again. If I had it on the boat with me I could fix it on the water or at least tell if I need to have seatow come get me..

This is true. Anyone can buy the CDI and Sierra programs for most engines.
