I have a 2001 optimax which runs out great i just have a hard time starting it. Its starts like a carburetor motor takes about 10 to 15 seconds to want to start and then idles rough for about 30 seconds and then clears out and runs great. I have replaced the fuel water separator and the fuel filter but have done nothing, any help would be great. Thanks

Fouled plugs, loose plugs, improperly gapped plugs, sour fuel, water in fuel, low battery voltage causing motor to turn too slowly, low or hi pressure fuel pump issues.

What TMS said. Many times it is the battery voltage. They should turn 1 to 1.5 revolutions and start. Your injectors may need a little tlc. First try a good charge on the battery or replace it if it is more than 2 years old. Use 1000 marine cranking amp battery.
