Headed west of Navarre to the Nat'l Seashore this morning for my first outing of the year. Honestly my hopes were high that this warm weather would have some pompano moving but it wasn't meant to be. Had the lines in the water by 6:20 but things were sloooooww. Spent the first 3 hrs in the thick fog hardly seeing 100 yds down the beach. When the fog lifted and the sun came out I finally got my first bite,a 30 " red. Decided to stay a bit longer, but the sun didn't help the bite turn around. 1 and done today, but it was sure good to get back out on the beach.
