Well got to fish the Big River Roundup Flathead Tourny again this year on the Appilachicola River at Blounstown and my boat came in 2nd out of 150 boats. Not alot of fish caught this year but we were ableto manage a few good one's. It started at 4pm Fri May 23 and ended at noon on Sat. Our 24.18lb Flathead along with a 19, 15, 12 & 8 were good enough to take second place and $1,000. We lost some good fish but that is to be expected. Our next tourny in this summer series is in Wewa at Gaskin Park at the end of June so wish us some luck. Jeremy

We fished out of Blounstown, FL on the Appilachicola River. We were using hand sized live river Bream and Chubs with 6 ozeggs, 5 oughtcircles and 50 lb leader. As far as eating, Flatheads are the best catfish b/c they are not scavengers, they eat only live bait and the Big River is a Clean running river, not to muddy. We fried up some of that pretty white meat last night and it was great.
