Wind all over this morning, got busted twice hunting somewhere I wasnt familiar with, I shouldve been about 100 yds from where I originally climbed in the dark.
wind settled down and started coming from s/e after lunch, had a perfect spot for that, loaded up and went there and was back in tree by 1330.
1400, doe comes out bang/flop, stayed put waiting on a buck.
1615, buck comes out 70 yds, bang/flop, this is one of the bucks I seen during bow season but never gave up a shot.
Didnt bring 4 wheeler today for recovery, and was too far to drag, so had to pack out. Finally got to use my pulley rig off my climber and it worked perfectly!
Pretty sweet day, finally got back to the truck about 1820.
