A quick fishing report for October 2015
The weather has been very windy! I have had to cancel many trips due to 17 to 25 mph winds from the east or east northeast. Even with all the windy days we have been able to get out on some nicer days...
LAST FOUR TRIPS COLD AND AND WINDY.
WE WORKED HARD FOR OUR FISH.
SPECKS---45+---ALL FISH CAUGHT TIGHT TO THE BOTTOM WITH GULP.
REDFISH---3 ALL SLOTS---CAUGHT THE SAME WAY AS SPECKS
FLOUNDER---2---CAUGHT THE SAME WAY AS SPECKS.
ALL FISH CAUGHT IN DEEP HOLES OUT FROM DOCKS AND POINTS...

baits---1/4 oz jig with chartreuse soft-body and 1/2 oz DOA in chartreuse.

HAD TO PULL OUT THE FOG KNIFE THIS MORNING! WE CUT OUR WAY THROUGH THE FOG UNTIL I FOUND MY FAVORITE SPECK HOLE.
SPECKS...5 KEEPERS 13 UNDERSIZED...DOA 1/2OZ AND 1/4OZ JIG AND GULP IN NEW PENNY. RETRIEVED SLOW ON BOTTOM WITH SOFT TWITCHES OF THE TIP THEN A PAUSE. DEEP HOLES...
The weather has been up and down with rain cold air and wind with a few warm sunshine days.
The fishing has been off the charts!!!!
