Kevin, just a note to let you and the family know how much Charles and I enjoyed out visit with you and talking fishing. The information you provided us was invaluable and saved us no telling now much time and money fishing the Millers Ferry area for the first time. Right now with our April schedules what they are Charles and I are looking at April 2nd for up to 3 nights. We will keep in touch and you do the same.
Hey, it's been a long time. Also, there's some guys on the Ga outdoors news forum that are knowledgeable about arrow heads. They usually have some interesting outdoors posts in the sub forum, "outdoor facts, history and oddities of nature".
The few crappie that I have caught in past month have ben scattered. I did get 5 at one spot but usually it's just one here and there. I think the water needs to cool down a bit more to get them bunched up.
Just go into crappie a couple of years ago and have learned that a few folks have been catching really good numbers for years in the river. I didn't know this.
Where do you fish for them from shore over your way......lake or river? Over here there area a few places on the river for bank fishing but I don't know what the catch. Have always assumed bream and cats.
