Jason I called that guy with the Caracal yesterday and it sounded like the engine had some issues so I think I will keep looking. Do you know anything about the 21 Sea Pro that Captain Zach Baker is selling on this forum. It looks good from 300 miles away?.

Thank you for all of your help.

Hey JD - I've got a PA 14 approximately 3 yrs old. I carelessly punched a thumbnail sized hole in one of my scupper holes with the hobie cart. Is there a fix ? Do you know anyone that I can take it to or any DIY advice ? Thanks for any assistance. I know you're a fisherman it I also know you know a lot a about the Hobie.

Hey JD! I'm considering heading your way next month and was wondering how your rates go? Lookin to go BTB for the first time, and goin with someone like you to essentially be a student and learn how to fish open water effectively. I'm stationed in New Orleans, I have my own Pescador 12' which I could bring, and would consider just to experience it... Just wanna get an idea of your rates bud, Thanx a bunch!

Thanks for the info Jason, When you say a few miles from the beach, do you mean like anchor up on a wreck and chunk for them like we do when we fish off Venice, La?

I see you did well today, nice. I was actually thinking about trying to run out to Paradise Hole if the WX is decent, I would imagine IF the Tuna are moving, they would be out there.

Thanks again for the info and tips, I really appreciate it.

Thanks for lookin, if you made it out. I went yesterday after work with a mask and fins. The surf was rough, red flag, seaweed was horible, visibility was about 3 feet. No luck though. I've got to find a cheap place to get the drive.
