Is there anyway you could share what you were trolling with?

I think the best thing is to troll a variety of colored spoons with a variety of planers. Deckhand Sawyer did a great job of mixing it up. We were in and out of clouds and rain so the light conditions kept changing and he kept "working the spread". In the clouds and rain they wanted the darker colors and in the sun the wanted the lighter colors. As we would get a bites he would change one or two to that color. He had 5 rods out and stayed busy. And i would vary speeds if we went a little while without a bite or change depth. Sometimes it seems like you do all that work for nothing because you can't seem to find what they want though. It's nice when you see a deckhand work that hard and actually create success. We could've trolled the same stuff the whole time and caught half the fish but he was all over it the whole time.
