Took James and his family out this morning. They brought their two boys with them but unfortunately they were sick before we could even catch bait. Headed back and dropped them off and we pushed out to find some snapper. Pulled up short of the snapper spot on a school of bait and a nice cobia was hanging out. He was hungry and we were able to get him into the boat after a quick fight. Headed to the snapper spots and the bite was slow. We probably only got 8 snapper bites all morning but we made them count. Managed the biggest of the season for my boat at 22 lbs and a 15lb fish behind it. Also managed a nice black snapper as well. Tough bite but it was a beautiful morning out there!
