Default King fishing 5 hour Monday sept 29

First let me start off by saying this was my first trip as the only captain on the 65' Bonner. It was great feeling to sit behind that wheel in the a/c and kick up your feet. Now on to the trip. We had 4 Europeans who had never been saltwater fishing before and did not care for the taste of fish, or so they thought! We delayed the trip until 8:30 to meet the small weather window for a short king and Spanish trip. We dropped lines as soon as we cleared the pass and immediately started catching nice Spanish. We hung out for 30 minutes and hooked 10 or so and lost five to those damn mammals. After that episode from flipper we kicked her up a little and headed offshore to a FAD that was holding some fish the day before. The total tally was 6 kings, 6 Spanish, and a few bobo's. I didn't snap any photos due to the rain unleashing on us as soon as we docked.
