They never leave. But they get very dependable in October...
I have a serious question for flowers, what part of Escambia should I focu my flat head catfish efforts?

On a typical Escambia River trip, flatheads can be found anywhere from just above Jim's fish camp all the way to the state line. There aren't many places that we have not caught them at. My favorite stretch is around Cotton Lake.

The bull reds are always here, you can catch them all year long, more in some places than others. However, in November they really stack up on the surface in large schools.
