Default for sale or trade: Meopta Meostar R1 3-12x56RD

I have a brand new, in box, Meostar 3-12x56 with the illuminated reticle. I think I may have decided to go with a 50mm objective instead. So, I'll sell this one for $900 or trade for something of similar value. Price is firm. Trades I would consider might include firearms or other optics (looking for something with a 50mm objective and 30mm tube).
Thanks for looking!

just a question. why do you prefer the 50mm over the 56mm? the reason i ask is just a few months ago i bought both scopes. i havent had a chance to shoot either gun they are mounted on yet so i am wondering why you prefer one over the other.

The 50 can be mounted a bit closer to the barrel and it is a tiny bit lighter. Optically, I have ZERO complaints about this 56mm scope - absolutely amazing clarity and resolution.
One thing I didn't mention in the original post is that the illuminated corsshair has 7 different settings for brightness. In low light, you can dial it way down so it doesn't impair target acquisition. Pretty great scope. The more I talk about it, I might just keep it. It would be the perfect scope for shooting these pigs that have been messing with some of our feeders.

I got the same scope, also have a 3-12x50 meopta on one of my encores, I wouldn't trade the 56mm for nothing, it lives aloft my sako 300wsm and is awesome. The 50mm is deffinatly a downgrade...
