Default Pick up Truck crane

Found this after reading about guys having trouble loading deer or hogs and thought it might be helpful for someone.

I wonder if there is a big mounting plate on the underside? I guess you'd need to find the nearest crossbeam and tie into that to be able to lift a 1/2 ton load without bending the sheet metal.

I think the next hog I get when I'm by myself, I'll tie a rope to the rear hocks and pulley them up to the tailgate, tie off the rope, and swing the front legs over.

Anyone else have ideas?

This will do. Bolt the swivel base in your truck or trailer bed. Remove hoist when not in use. They make smaller versions
You can mount dismount hoist from swivel base

They make one that slips into the receiver hitch. A guy in our club uses one.

I think he got his at Sportsman's Guide.
