Default .223 or 5.56

Looks like .223 is drying up where I usually pick it up. Does anyone know where there is some, in stock for a half way reasonable price?

We (Mike's) have a few, 1000 round ammo cans of Federal brass cased .223 in stock right now for $429.

Also have Hornady .223, 55 grain soft point, 50 round box, for $34.99.

Those same ammo cans are going for over $500 everywhere that I have looked on the net. Thats if they have it. Most of the online shops are on back order. When it comes back in it will cost more. Make sure you are comparing 1000rds in price.

I picked up 1000 rounds of Federal M855 in white boxes for $300 at Interstate Pawn on olive road a couple days ago. He was asking 8 dollars a box but gave me a bulk discount. I thought that was a great deal considering the current hysteria. I wiped out the m855 but he had a good bit of M193 left. Might be worth stopping by and making him an offer. I've bought a couple of shotguns from them as well and got fair deals. Pretty good guys to deal with from what I have seen.

To bad, but I figured it would go quick at that price.

With supply drying up he could have priced gouged but chose to not only be fair but offer a great deal. Smart move because Interstate will be my goto place for future orders.
