Alien race came from the stars, cloned the workers, mined the gold, and left the peons behind. We are a cross breed of alien humanoids and big foot....right?

No wait, we are a living hard drive, placed here by an alien race that needed to log and record the history of the universe. Since it has been proven that trillions of terabytes can be stores in DNA and quarts, Earth is a perfect petri dish for information. That work?

A mystery guy from the heavens said poof, you exist, and we are now here. Thats kind of the standing belief among most humans today.

The real scientific/religious communities probably know the true answers. But its easier to control the masses if you keep them in limbo and feed them a "Holywood Script" and lead them in the "right" direction.

Keep faith in whats right, be a good person, and live by the karma law. Good things will follow. Works for me!

Man, these Vodka sodas are goooood!

Maybe some!

I know plenty of good people who have had terrible things happen to them. I also know plenty of horrible people who have good things happen to them all the time. I don't buy into karma.

I do agree that the more good we do, they better the people we can run into, and make our own lives better, usually... as a general rule.

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". - That Mystery Guy who left a rather lenghty text on paper so He wouldn't be such a mystery after all.

Cheers to you Kenton!

Yessir....but Karma is just a way of saying that do good get good.....You reap what you sow! so on and so forth. When something bad happens to us it helps us draw closer to GOD. He wants us to depend on him, not some times---all times!

The ole joke, wanna make GOD laugh---tell him what your plans for the future are!

ya'll enjoy your day!

Not really. Karma suggests that there is some sort of tally machine that keeps records of everyone's deeds, then dispenses rewards and punishments accordingly. This is not true because good things happen to bad people, and bad things happen to good people, all the time. Scripture does not teach this at all. Scripture teaches we are not saved by what [we] do, we are saved by what Christ did [for us] -on the cross. It is His work that saves us, not our works.

We killed, bred, and/or starved 'em all out in a competition for resources is probably the best explanation .... (actually, I've heard tell scientists have identified Neandertal DNA in some living humans)

A religious "theory" is not even on the same level as a scientific "theory" .... so to put them side-by-side as equally valid is just nonsense.

In any case ... God and evolutionary theory are not incompatible in my world. I understand others may differ.
