Default The gospel of Barnabas

The gospel of Barnabas seems to contradict the basic theme of Christianity.

Not saying its true, just found it interesting. Heck, even Muslims question its validity and one would think they would try to prove it correct.

Is this the one that Wikipedia says was written in Italian and Spanish in the 17th century? (1634?).

They are claiming 500 years after the death of Jesus..

If you look at the book, you can tell it was written before 1600.

How many other gospels were omitted from the bible and why did this happen?

Calling the good reverend spooneeeeyyyy.....What ya got...

Heck, spoon probably has me on ignore so none of my opinions/facts seep into his mind that might make him think objectively without bias.

It seems like they cheery picked gospels that fit the christian agenda.

Nope, I see you, but I know your intentions and your methods. Not worth my time.

It is good that you are searching, searching for answers that exist in your mind / heart.

Keep searching brother, and I will pray for you, asking God to reveal himself to you.

It's pretty awesome when he does!!!

If you do some looking there is a book or maybe more than one that has gospels that were "left out".

What exactly are my intentions rev spoon?

I seek the truth objectively and look at all logical conclusions.

Why do you have hate for me spoon?

I have nothing but love for you brother, just like Jesus would have wanted.

Peace

“Many Islamic, as well as Christian and secular scholars label the Gospel of Barnabas a forgery,” adding that no Muslim or Christian writer referred to it until the fifteenth or sixteenth century, while the gospel “cites historical facts that didn’t exist until hundreds of years later.”

I'm going to go with this train of thought.
