Default Daily Scripture

FORGIVE - Hard thing to do especially if you are wronged by someone.....

Colossians 3:12-15

12 Therefore, as Godís chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.

Good reminder Jason!!!! I know it's easier said than done..Speaking for myself, if it wasn't for the Lord stepping in.....There'd be quite a few going to prayer meeting...redneck style....

This is certainly a good scripture to start the week with. The challenge will be to make it work for oneself. But with the Lord's help all things are possible.

I can say that the instant peace that comes from forgiving someone, whether it is myself or someone else, is real!
The battle is the Lord's. Amen
This scripture and message go well with a scripture you used last week. When we remember our own shortcomings, it makes forgiveness that much easier. I have learned that two emotions/feelings I battle with are a total waste of time for me. Machismo and pride. Both of these are exhibited best, IMHO, as example rather than verbally. It seems to me, both of these qualities should be obvious, but not obnoxious!
Just sayin
Joe

As always, thanks for taking the time to give us the daily scripture, Jason.
