Default Yak Fisher in the making

The only thing my son wanted for his birthday was a kayak so that he could head out with me. So, I got him a kayak. Took him out on his maiden voyage today. No poles this time but he had a blast and got a feel for the handling of his new battleship. Gonna get him out my next set of days off and try to catch a few catfish in the creek we were in. And if anyone is curious he has a future beach discovery 124. They aren't high end but they are tough as nails and made by our northern neighbors in Canada. Had my yak going on 10 years now and it still does what it needs to do. Also, got his on sale at the local field and stream for$229.00. I'll have him ready to rock and roll when we finally move back home to the panhandle in a couple of months.Yak Fisher in the making-20180606_132205_1528317349162-jpgClick image for larger version

That is a wise investment, it will pay off for years to come
