Default windy bass fishing

Although the wind was howling, I pushed off my shoreline just after daylight and headed out.

Iím throwing 2 lures, spinner bait w/ 2 willow leaf blades silver/copper & baby bass fluke rigged weedless. We just finished filling the lake back up and the bass are exploring the newly flooded shoreline & were actively chasing & feeding.

The wind just made it miserable but I managed 2 bass before getting frustrated. The one in the photo I caught from my shoreline, the 2nd one was about 2# both caught on the fluke, missed 2 more on the spinner bait.

See any beds?

Fishing on a windy day is still better than sitting on the couch IMO

They've had beds in the lake for the past month. The 2# came off a bed, dropped the fluke in there, he sucked it right in.

Nice bass Bruce. Great lure selection for small pond/lake. That baby bass fluke is a go-to for sure. Thanks for the report.
