Good call. Saturday may have been fishable but I wouldn't have tried it. Sunday drizzle all day, then solid rain all night.

I fished nearshore Navarre Saturday. The surf reports of ankle to knee high were accurate, but the 80% chance of rain/T'storm predictions were way off- I fished dock lights Friday night and got run off due to storms after I had fished 3-4 hours. I fished from sunrise to noon nearshore Saturday, a little cloudy but real nice. I also hit docklights Saturday night and it was beautiful. Sunday was overcast and drizzly after noon or so.

I hit the beach at 4 pm Saturday and stayed till 5 am Sunday. Surf rougher than ankle - knee, I would say a safe bet of 2's and maybe a 3' occasional (we caught air in the zodiac running baits out). Wind seemed to pick up as the night progressed and died at 3 am when light drizzles moved in.

Fished all day Saturday. Was calm in the morning, storms around though so we held tight to shore. Rained a bit around lunch, came back out to a glassed out ocean, fished till 4pm, spotted 1 Cobia for sure, a couple giant schools of jack crevalle and blackfin tuna busting further out. Santa Rosa Beach FL

on Saturday it was showing "flat" for the a.m. and 1-2 for the p.m. However it said 1.4-1.6' at 6 seconds all day, which i found to be accurate. the launch at sunrise and the landing at noon were both super easy in a kayak
