Default The way to end 2012

Well wanted to take boat out to pensacola today but couldn't get anyone to go .so after most of the day doing honey do list finally found took off with my 7 year old fishing bud with the kayacks to blackwater bay . Started slow but ended great was targeting sheepshead only caught 13 total my son caught 4 himself both was a first for us on yaks we done great on boats but hooked on the kayacks .the biggest was 20 inches and was my best fight on a yak yet great fight kept 4 of the biggest and released the others not to comfortable stuffing those pointe toothy critters at my feet! Will post pics tomorrow. Headed to a shrimp boil!

Awesome day. I haven't been able to find sheeps in blackwater bay. What do you look for in an area to target? Do you mainly fish docks? Thanks

Yep he's got it made ! I paddle and tie a rope to his yak. It started off slow and we just kept moving around and one spot they were on fire at one time we doubled up that was pretty cool . I was proud of my little man landed 4 by himself .

Good job on taking the little man out. Was you using shrimp or fiddlers?
