Default Upper Slot Redfish On The Gulp! Catch and Cook

What's going on anglers! In this report, I headed out a couple of days ago to Jims Fish Camp here in Pace Florida. The weather was NOT ideal to be on the water. It had been raining for about a week straight and was drizzling off and on this whole day. Started off the day throwing top water with no luck. The day was going on, and as it progressed I started to feel like it could end with a skunk when WHAM! I get nailed on a gulp! It ended up being a beautiful 24 inch Upper slot River Red. I only caught this guy on this day, so I wanted to try a method that a lot of people do with Redfish. That method is cooking it on the half shell. I show me catching, cleaning, and cooking this guy. Good luck on the water anglers... TIGHT LINES!

There are big Redfish hanging under my dock right now. In the clear shallow winter water they will not eat any artificial bait. We found the only way to catch them is with a small jig head and stinky frozen shrimp. You cant throw at them either or they wil get spooked.

We throw the bait out and watch them come to it.
