Default Tough fishing

I fished hard and battled wind and horrible conditions the last 2 days for not much action caught a few trout all between 13-17 couple rat reds the only good one I had hooked came unbuttoned by the yak a couple big sail cats 1 giant croaker and that's it for 2 mornings and evenings. Worst 2 days I've had in a long time. Anybody else have a hard time this weekend?

You're a braver man than me. I left the Outback on the wall this weekend and did a little surf fishing at the Pass with my daughter. Did not land any fish(lost something big off a gotcha), but had a blast. Hopefully next weekend will be safer.

Same here. The PA stayed in the garage. We did some surf fishing on Okaloosa Island this morning. Brought home a nice pompano for lunch. Wish we could have hit the gulf after reading about the piers killing the Kings.

Highlight of my Sunday was all you can drink mimosas @ crabs, then turned the golf match on and fell asleep for 2 hours... LOL
