Default storm over - Fish hitting

I went out in the gulf after getting some bait in the lagoon. Caught a bunch of those stinking sail cats, but when the wind dies down a bit I took the yak into the gulf. My line was tangled on the trolling rod with a "live" fish on it, and I had forgotten about the redfish spoon i had out on my other rod. Well it was getting dark and I had my headlight on trying to fix the reel, when the other one went SCREAMING out of nowhere. Ended up with this huge 39" Red.
Right when I had identified it (in the water and still taking line occasionally), My other line (still messed up) screamed a bit, it ended up being a big sail cat, but still exciting to get 2 at once like that! Wasn't too far out so managed to get this picture on the beach before I let him go.

Reds seem to be hitting big now, and in the lagoon stuff was hitting anything, they're hungry.

Awesome! Good Job! Seen a big red wash up on the beach in Destin saturday. Should have been about 46" but was missing his back half! one big bite! He was still alive so I just missed the attack!
