Default Some help please

I know you guys hear this alot, but im a new kayak owner and have wade fished perdido, mainly big lagoon area for a long time, usually cant get in the water until april because of the chill. But my question is where is a good place to launch your yak and get on some reds and specks.I went out of the launch at big lagoon last week, but think the lagoon is still to slow, only one flounder on my first time out.Ive read some of your reports here and it seems like the uper bays this time of year are good, but like i said i usually cant start fishing till they have pretty much moved into the lagoon anyway. Dont want any secret spots, just a starting point, would like to try close to perdido if possible, but then again the yak loads in the truck pretty easy and can travel. Also im new to the forum,i know a few names on here, lots of good info. thanks jake

You can buy a yearly pass to Johnson Beach for about $40. Another $40 will get you a yearly "Night Owl" pass and allow you to come and go 24 hours a day.

Thanks guys just google searched perdido launches, and found several, does anyone know or heard of galvez landing boat ramp? Ive launched at the galvez road public launch millions of times, but this is acording to the map north of that, and looks like access to garcon bayou.Have never heard of and didnt know it existed.

Galvez landing is the landing with Hub Stacie's restaurant by it. There apparently is a launch at the other end of the road but never tried it out. The launch at coronada blvd ( just west of galvez rd) is nice for kayaks because just about no one else can launch from there because it's in such rough shape. Just have to park in the street is all.
