Default Solid Weekend on the Water

Presidents day weekend turned out to be a huge success.

We had clients from all over the country and were able to find fish in three different bodies of water.

The water temperature has been rising and the lack of rain has cleaned the bay systems up.

All of the fish were caught on 3" soft plastics in less than 3' of water. We moved around a bit and covered some water and when we found them they were ready to eat.

Once this wind dies down we will be back at it! For daily updates check out Navarre Kayak Fishing on Facebook.

Good day indeed!!

Went out last Sunday and struck out. The water temps were in the mid 60's and it just felt like it was going to be a great day. Pretty new to the area and haven't pieced it all together yet, but we aren't giving up. We came from mainly bass fishing lakes and rivers, just trying to figure out how to transition that knowledge to the marsh and inlets for reds and such.

You shouldn’t have an issue transferring the knowledge. I grew up bass fishing and it all worked out with a little bit of dedication.

They aren’t nearly as picky as a largemouth.
