Default Slob Black Drum 5-26

Ended up heading out last night to search for trout on dock lights. Caught a few little guys, but the wind really made it hard to fish them. Ended up heading to a bridge with some fresh dead shrimp to look for some drum. Managed to hang this one up. Incredible fight. Strong current and fresh dead shrimp were the ticket.

Probably could! However, black drum that big tend to be worm infested and don't taste nearly as well as they do when they are on the lower end end of the slot. Ended up letting this guy go.

They're not good when they're that big. You have to catch them when young before they lose their stripes. Like the other poster said 14" limit is good eating size.
