Default Slack Tide Trouts

I planned to fish and was a little disappointed when I saw the slack tide in the morning, but went anyways because I had a good feeling about it.

High tide was at 7:28 and I fished 45 minutes before and after it hit. I had to wade through the dink specks to find keepers, but I ended up catching some decent ones. Most came on a Savage Shrimp, (my first time using), and a few came on a Matrix. I left my topwater at home on accident, but I bet it would have killed it with how slick it was out there.

I also hooked a freight train of a fish that peeled off 30 yards of line before coming undone, I was thinking a bruiser red or jack.

Its always a good feeling to get on and off the water quickly and catch fish.

The file uploader wasn't working, so I tried to upload pictures here:

Nice work, thanks for the post. It encourages me to get out there even if I only have a little bit of time or the tides arent just right. How deep were the fish you were catching?

I would say mostly 5-7 feet.
