Default Skunked at Simpsons

Ok...not sure what's going on. Been out last few days with nothing...and I mean nothing hitting what I'm throwing. Hit several spots where I KNEW there were fish. Lotsa action around, bait moving through, etc. Tried changing presentation, different plastic, different jig heads, topwater, subsurface Mirrodine, you name it. so if you see me on the water...save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else...I'm skunked at this point. Gonna go to church tomorrow.

I've had success the last 3 days catching over slot and near over slot on grey colored softbodies. The mullet are stacked up and the specks are eating on the smaller ones. If getting dusk to dark, an original rapala will work everytime. Carefull on those treble hooks. They get into everything.

Sounds like you need to appease the fishing gods....I'm hoping this cold snap will send more of them into the rivers....
