Default Simpson River 7 December 2012

Fished from 9-2. Bite was slow, managed several small specks and white trout on gold Rattletrap, and then found some good size trout (for me) using Gulp New Penny Jerk Shad on the bottom. Landed a 16", 2 @ 19" and lost what had to be at least 20+ incher at the boat.

Forgot to add my sincere apologies to the gentleman in the Outback; he was nice enough to peddle over to speak and I did not see that he was trolling...ended up with my Rattletrap in a cluster #@*! around one of his lines. Usually those only involve me and my lines, hooks, body... but this time I took a complete stranger with me. He was very patient with me and if you are on here, sorry again...

Thats one quick way to end up with a nasty cut and maybe some stitches.

Not much chance of all that, never had more than a small scratch from lipping specks...all those trebble hooks are much more dangerous...
