Launched behind Broxon Outdoors in Navarre at daylight this past Saturday. Went west to the docks just past the creek mouth and then back east to the bridge and every structure in between with a 23 inch red (green and chartreuse paddle tail) and a 15 inch speck (trolling blue/chrome spoon) to show for it as well as one small cat (live shrimp) over about 4 hours. Decided to pack it up and head to East Bay River to see what else we could find, but no go there. One more cat and decided to call it a day. Made it back to Pace around noon. Pretty rough sledding. Of course my brother in law caught the red and speck, and I was left with the two baby cats. Great being out on the water though, just haven't had the success so far this year as in recent years past.
