Default Recent reports. Bullreds and more bullreds.

Last Monday i headed to 3 mile to pre fish for a charter and saw a couple fish but only managed to hook into one 39 inch fish. I only fished for 2 hours just to check and see if they were biting.

The day of the charter the weather looked good but the wind picked up that night and made some sporty conditions. Client Mike was still was able to land his first fish from a kayak which was a 39 inch beast!. He ended up landing another one later in the night just a tad bit smaller. I also caught two decent bulls through out the night. I love being able help people catch a personal best or turn them onto to kayak fishing!

This past Sunday i decided to hit the sound looking to see if any trout had started to show up but first cast with the NEW SHADOW RAP SHAD i hooked into a beast red at 40 inches! (btw i had to baby this fish cuz of the hooks on the bass lure lol) I also ended up snatching a 25 inch slot out from under a dock with the shadow rap shad too.

Nice job buddy.. When the wind kicks up out at 3 mile, it can be a but miserable.. Glad you were able to put a client on a fatty! Do you ever live bait with clients or strictly artificial?

I use to live bait white trout when it is slow but we can usually get them on artificals.

The diving lip is in the fish's mouth so I can't tell. Is that the reg or deep version?
