Default Oh snap!

Myself and bwise decided to rake a trip into the gulf today in search of anything that would bite. It was glass this morning and looked like it was going to an excellent day of fishing. So we launched out of Langdon beach headed to the barges. Looking back on it I think I would have launched somewhere else. After peddling for 3 ish miles we finally arrived, not many boats were around giving us the golden opportunity to slay some fish. I brought along some shrimp, bwise brought a sabiki. Within 45mins of fishing and finding the structure, fish on! Bwise had a hookup and after a couple of seconds it was gone, snapped of. I finally got rigged up and dropped a shrimp down. Eventually pulled up an elusive red snapper. Since I know they are almost extinct and out of season he lived to see another day. From that point on there was nothing. Winds started blowing out of the south and waves started getting big. Next thing I know I hear a big splash and bwise was swimming. We decided to call it a day.

Me: 1 lonely snapper
Bwise: lots of bar Jacks and a cold peddle home

P.s. no pics. Didn't have the go pro or water proof case for phone.

I saw you guys out there I was in the blue Carolina Skiff with my little girl that was constantly complaining she had to use the bathroom. It was pretty calm early and it really picked up out there. Glad you guys made it in safely! I barely could catch a trigger for all those pesky snapper and redfish. I finally was able to get em though.
