Nice bulls from my Kayak
Met up with a friend to try to get on some Bulls. Got there about 10pm, a guy just got back to the ramp, his drive lost a nut out there and had to PADDLE the beast (Loaded PA 12) back in, and it was windy. We headed out and it was pretty rough, and like I said windy. As the night went on it settled down a bit. An hour or so later I hooked up on my first bull in a kayak ever, I landed it, got a few pics and put her back to fight another day. About 10 minutes later I hooked up on a second bull. By the time I got it under control he about spooled me, started working my line back on my reel and got him to my Yak a few minutes later, took some pics and sent it back with only his pride hurt. Was a good night. Finally got a few bulls, makes the price of the hobie worth it!
Total report, 25+ white trout, 2 Bull Reds.
