Default Navarre Bridge 12/28

Since I popped my cherry yesterday, i had to work on my technique today and the Sheepies where everywhere today. Tried some fiddler crabs today that i picked up from Broxson and what a difference. The sheepies were small, but fun to catch. I ran out if crabs pretty quick, so I had to use 2 day old shrimp. Only 1 sheepie liked them(only keeper), but the Black Drum didn't care. So, I popped another cherry. My first black drum. What fun!

Try oysters next time. They're free and the best bait I've used for them by far

Nice catch! What side of the bridge has been more productive? I've been told to fish the Juana's side on the seawall of the small bridge. I usually stick to the surf in Navarre. We got a pompano, and a small black drum today. My buddy was out the last two days slaying slot reds, and black drum.

Pilar,

I've been fishing the big bridge on the other side. The water was real clear yesterday and every bridge column I checked had a couple of sheepies hanging around.
