Default It was nasty in the gulf today!

I decided to head out solo to a live bottom area this morning and do some recon. I made it the 2.6 miles where the area begins, marked some good bottom and turned my arse around. 2-3s with the occassional 4 footer and they were stacking. Made my starfish pucker up a few times. The PA did better than expected. I think my gopro is screwed because I should have some sick video right now.....it sucks!
Good thing is if the weather breaks before the end of the month I know where I'm going.
It was to sloppy to even think about fishing much less fight a decent fish.
Plenty of bobos right on the beach
Got me plenty of bait for next time. There was a guy there fly fishing for them they were so close.
Sorry no pics or video, I think my gopro is cursed. But it is 3.5 yrs old.

It wouldn't have been that bad if conditions were nice. I went out to the Liberty ship last year solo.
I'm just sooo bored with inshore fishing. I guess its because for the past 3 summers I've been working in California so I've been missing all the good fishing like cobia, pelagics and the snapper season. I'll be here this summer and can't wait!
